I can't teach "Halloween" in my school, so can I still use these lessons?
You bet! In one of the schools I taught at, I wasn't allowed to do anything that mentioned Halloween in my classes. I was still able to use ALL these lessons though, because nothing in the texts or in the student activities specifically contains the word Halloween at all. In fact, I use the Dracula mini-lesson regularly in my "intro to gothic" unit which I teach in April!

Depends on what you're teaching! I've had teachers use these resources for as low as 4th/5th grade ELA and as high as 9th/10th grade, too. I've also had social studies teachers, creative writing elective teachers, and humanities teachers get great value out of these items because they're so relevant to what they wanted to do in their classes this time of year.
