For me, the haaaaardest thing about all the moving parts of teaching is trying to finish up at a decent time on Fridays WITHOUT having to worry about what's happening in class on Mondays.
I want to enjoy my weekends without the constant, weekly issue of stressing over getting each new week planned and started in class. Tying up loose ends from the week on Friday PLUS trying to make sure everything is ready for Monday takes a LOT of time and mental energy!
Now couple all THAT 👆with the desire to celebrate the incredible achievements of people of color alllll year long (not just on "awareness" days here and there) which means needing to get super organized and intentional with what's happening in class.
I want my students to know that anything is possible in their own lives, too! I want my students to have positive examples of those who have come before so they can become their own heroes in their own life stories!
Serving the needs of your students + saving massive amounts of time and energy each week is where The 32 Non-fiction ✨Monday Method✨ Article Collection comes in!

You'll LOVE this if:
This ISN'T for you if:
This is a crazy good deal. Are you sure this just crap on a cracker?
Oh gosh, LOL! Nope, not at all. I'm a real teacher who created these resources to make things easier and more fun in your middle school ELA classroom. If you have questions after the fact, just email me! I check email twice a day and I'll respond as quickly as I possibly can😊
How do I organize the 32 Articles to use all through the school year?
It works by assigning them one day a week (like on Mondays):
How will I get the articles and bonuses after I purchase?
You'll get an email from me with this subject line:
🙌Articles + Bonuses are Here >>
Be sure to check your bulk/spam/junk/trash email folders just in case it ends up there. And remember, I'm here to help if you need anything! I'll take care of you after the fact if you feel stuck or can't find that email😊
What all comes with this when I purchase?
Everything will come to you in digital format via email. You'll be getting:
Can I use this stuff even if I don't teach Middle School ELA?
Depends on what you're teaching! I've had teachers use these resources for as low as 4th/5th grade ELA and as high as 9th/10th grade, too. I've also had social studies teachers and humanities teachers get great value out of these items because they're so relevant to what they wanted to do in their classes. I could see how even a science teacher could get great use out of the articles since many of those featured are scientists or inventors. . . And science in general is a reading-rich content area as well!
What if I don't like it? Do you offer refunds?
Look, I get it! It's hard enough to buy a dog toy online (will Rufus love it? Will he ignore it?) without being certain. I've personally developed and used these articles in so many ways (along with hundreds of teachers like you and me) that I'm confident you'll enjoy them, too. Plus, due to the digital nature of the resources, I don't offer refunds. But hey, if you have doubts and aren't sure though, send me an email ~ Hi! I'm Laura👋 ~ and I'll share the 1st article in the collection with you so you can check it out before buying (I'll send you the article, questions, answer key, and lesson plan page, too) >> contact@languageartsteachers.com
Do I HAVE to use these articles on Mondays?
No, you don't have to! Here are other ways countless teachers are using these articles in case you want other ideas:
- Use them on Fridays to finish out the week
- Use them as station / center work throughout the year
- Assign one per week and give students choice and flexibility in when they complete each one that week
- Use them as extra resources for tutoring, intervention, etc
Can you remind me again who each article is about? Can I see a list of the topics for all 32 articles?
Imagine what simplicity + confidence you'll have in your weekly class routine now!
